THERMAL IMAGING
The benefits of using thermal imaging to trace concealed pipes and find hidden water leaks are very clear. By depicting the thermal patterns of a water system, we can accurately target physical intervention so that fixing leaks causes as little disruption and damage as possible.
TRACER GAS
Tracer gas detection is one of the prominent yet accurate ways of detecting untraceable leaks. Tracer gas detection involves a mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen, where nitrogen takes 95 %. These gases are pumped into pipes or the equipment that’s being tested. Since hydrogen is a light gas, it escapes through the smallest leaks, and it will go through short routes from the leak to the ground where it can be detected with a gas sensing device.
LEAK REPAIR
Many Trace and Access companies will literally do just that, trace your leak and access it, leaving you to find another contractor to come and fix the leak for you.
